Beyond
Italian-Chinese Mentorship Community
“If they did it, I can do it too.”
Built on our parents’ courage
In the late 1980s and early 2000s, our parents left everything behind to come to Italy, and built a future for us through relentless hard work.
Because survival came first, our community grew up with a narrow idea of what a career could be, and with almost no role models outside the family business. Even today, Italian-Chinese students are rarely seen pursuing and excelling in engineering, mathematics, physics, medicine or research.
Beyond exists to change that. We connect young talents with mentors from the same background who have already walked those paths, so they can aim higher, and give them the inspiration to say: “If they did it, I can do it too.”
