Become a mentor

Be the role model you never had.

For Italian Chinese who made it into a challenging field.

01Why mentoring matters

One conversation can change a path.

Many of us grew up without ever meeting someone from our own background who had become an engineer, a doctor, a physicist or a researcher. The talent was there; the examples were not. You can be that example.

As a mentor, you share what you wish someone had told you: how you chose your university, how you found scholarships and internships, what the first years really looked like. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You only need to be honest about how you got where you are.

Who we are looking for

  • Researchers in science, engineering, medicine or any academic field, from PhD candidates to professors
  • Professionals in engineering, technology, medicine, finance and beyond, at any career stage, in Italy or abroad
  • People who remember what it felt like to be the first

What happens nextWe read every application personally. We will get in touch by email to get to know you, and then introduce you to a mentee whose interests match your path.
